Whether you are sleep deprived (which most postpartum mothers are), recovering from a difficult delivery, or just relaxing and enjoying newborn snuggles, you don’t have to worry about leaving the house for your newborn portraits. We bring everything to you! All we need is an 8x8 clear floor space where we can set up.

When should I schedule my newborn photo session?

The ideal time for newborn portraits is within the first three weeks of birth when your baby is at their tiniest and sleepiest. However, we understand that life can be unpredictable, and not every newborn arrives on a convenient schedule. We welcome babies of all ages, especially if there were unexpected difficulties with the birth or a stay in the NICU. Every moment is worth capturing.

The best time for newborn photos is generally during the first 3 weeks of life. This is the time when most newborns still have short wake windows and it offers the best chance of getting those peaceful, sleepy poses. Of course, we understand that not all babies are born on their due dates, and not all babies come home from the hospital right away. If your baby was born early or had a stay in the NICU, the best time for photos is as soon as they come home, of course! We love babies of all ages and even if your baby is older than 3 weeks, we can still get beautiful images of your baby (perhaps wide-eyed or smiling).
